I am new to the Winona area and this was my first experience working with a mechanic who wasn't my dad. I am super grateful for the mechanics at Volkmann's, especially Shane!! Their customer service is amazing and I would definitely recommend going there if ever in need of a mechanic.
I am super happy with my experience with Volkman's Garage. They replaced a brake line, recharged my AC, did an oil change, and checked and replaced my battery on a nearly 30 year-old truck at a very reasonable cost in one day. Very professional and experienced. The fact that they are really busy should tell you all you need to know. I've worked with four other shops in town -- all good -- but Volkman's has earned my future business. Highly recommended.

The mechanics are thorough. Andy and Nate tell you like it is. They check the vehicles and are transparent with their estimates and let you decide what to do.
