Coco Nails

I went with my friend to sit with her while she got acrylics done. there were two men working, one of them yelled at my friend and urged her to pick out a color. I am not exaggerating when i say we were there for less than five minutes when this man reached into my friends hand and took her color selection and essentially picked her color for her as he sat us down. He went to go grab the color and came back with a completely different one than he even picked originally so we corrected him. The other man across the store yelled to us claiming they needed us to make it quick because they had a 5:30 appointment. it was around 5:15 so that was understandable. finally the first man started prepping my friends nails for her acrylics and the only actually conversation we had with him was to clarify what shape and length she wanted her new acrylics to be. He agreed to her request because that is literally his entire job description; to do nails the way his customers ask and pay for. This man however decided to do a gel manicure. I do not know how he could have accidentally interpreted her request that way at all as he repeated what she wanted to her multiple times. He asked if she thought they looked good when he finished and she respectfully answered by telling him he had not given her acrylics like she had asked. he responded with “yeah”. By the time we checked out, it was past 5:30 and no one was there. so much for their important appointment they treated us so badly for. this place sucked to say the least.

Terrible right from the start. I walked in and asked for acrylics. They told me to pick a color but after looking for maybe 1 minute, they promptly yelled at me, told me they had a 5:30 appointment so I needed to be fast(Even though walk-in are “welcome”), and then took the colors out of my hand. Once I got to the seat, the nail tech basically choose the color for me. Once he started filing them down, he had the grinder on so fast, they I could feel the heat from under my nails. There was no talk, only rude remarks about my nail texture and where I should put my hands. After that, we had our first discussion which was about how long and the shape I wanted my acrylics to be, rounded with natural length. This was a mutual agreement, it was very clear. He then continued to file down my nails short, typical prep for acrylics. It was here that things went even more awry. He started to do my nails like gels. I had never gotten acrylics here before so I just thought “this is weird, but maybe they do the gel part first?” Just trying to rationalize this in my head after I had clearly stated several times what I wanted. It was not until after he said “done” that I realized he had completely ignored my request. I told him that I had wanted acrylics and his response was “yeah,” with a nod showing he literally just decided to do this own thing. I have never experienced service where someone just blatantly goes against the customers wishes when they are the one buying the service you provide. Interesting to say the least. The gels look nice though I suppose but they would look much better as acrylics. Won’t be stopping back though.

I got a gel polish manicure ud83dudc85 the lady who did it was wonderful. She was quick, efficient and made sure everything was sanitized before she started. She also did everything that I wanted and also made sure that I knew the polish I picked turned different colors, in fact I didn't even need to tell her which color she was perceptive enough to know. I most certainly will be returning highly recommend this place for all your nail needs.

Started going to Coco nails two months ago, and they helped educate me on the best nail color options for my nails. The dipping powder has made my nails so strong and actually grow! This manicure lasts way longer than any other I’ve had, over three weeks! Quality is outstanding! And all the employees are kind, funny, and so welcoming! This is by far the best nail salon I’ve been to for both quality and service!

Tommy does an amazing job always goes above and beyond what I ask for. I had just recently moved out of the state but still make the trip to have my nails done at CoCo.
