Need breakfast again

Nice place, friendly staff, excellent food across the parking lot. Rooms were clean and front desk staff were courtesy. The staff were dusting, disinfecting door handles and washing windows during downtime. Very impressive!

Tub in room filled very slowly. We paid premium for a room with a good view and a tub and didn't really get to enjoy either. The tub took 90 minutes to fill, which was quite loud the entire time. We did complain and was told we would be comp'd accordingly, but it seems they forgot about it and we didn't care enough to raise a stink about it and take time away from our day. Our room had a great view to the lake, but I felt like we had absolutely no privacy with the number of people just walking and hanging out right outside our room.nnAll that being said, we did get to open the curtains and experience the sunrise over the lake both mornings we were here, and it was absolutely stunning. Fantastic way to wake up.nnDated room designs. Our bathroom was particularly awkward for men as the toilet seat could not be raised without holding it in place due to an unfortunately placed counter top. That was a first. Our room had a living area near the door, but the living area felt kind of useless. TVs are small and speakers are bad/hard to hear.nnBreakfast is grab and go cereals/muffins. I get the Covid precautions, but it seems all Choice Hotels have been recouping some of their costs by just skimping on breakfast offerings right now. I didn't expect much, and I was still disappointed unfortunately.nnOtherwise, room was comfortable and clean. Motel style parking was convenient.

My wife and I stayed here for three days.nThe motel is quite run down.nBut the staff seemed friendly.nThe sink in the bathroom did not drain.nAnd the toilet only flushed half of the time we used it.nThis motel definitely needs some updates.nAfter I booked this hotel I checked prices for comparable hotels in the area I feel like they overcharged me

The hotel is older but updated. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet even though the busy road was out front. The staff was helpful and friendly. The fellow guests were awesome. While on our trip to Ashland we had a break down with our motorcycle. The staff and guests were very helpful. One guy took my husband to get parts, another offered to get us food as we were literally stranded. The staff offered us the comfort of knowing if we had to leave the bike (in pieces) to get a trailer, parts or anything, they would keep an eye on it to be sure it would be kept safe. The only disappointment was there were 2 TVs in our room and only 1 tv had a remote deeming the separate living space in our room pretty worthless. The other small complaint would be the jetted tub in our room wouldn't hold water. But considering the day we had, it was minor issues. We'd stay here again if ever in Ashland.
