Went there sick with an oncoming upper respiratory infection the day before leaving for a vacation and had to literally BEG the doctor for an antibiotic. He didn't think I was sick enough to warrant an antibiotic and wanted to send me for a chest x-ray.nnThis seems to be the modus operandi of the Springfield Medical System. Went on another date to the Springfield office and was DENIED antibiotics. Again told I wasn't sick, only to have to go back again a few days later, when I was extremely ill. Had to pay for two office visits.nnThey think we don't know our own bodies and are on the bandwagon of not prescribing antibiotics.nJust make sure you're so sick you're about to die before you show up there if you need an antibiotic.
