Greg and Jane are great hosts! This is a great property, in an old farmhouse with a lovely yard in the back. The B&B is totally private, with it's own entrance, bathroom and kitchenette. Very convenient to Stowe.
The Lonely Goat is fabulous! Fresh flowers, beautiful rustic charm, impeccably clean, and I slept like a baby! Jane and Greg are great hosts...I would highly recommend a stay here!
As advertised, this darling apartment is hip and well located just a few minutes drive to Stowe or Waterbury. The amenities include a stylish apartment with a sleep number bed and a claw foot bathtub as well as a separate shower. The hosts are both friendly and helpful but not intrusive. This was a delight and a bargain to boot! 5 stars!!!
My 79 year-old dad and his friend got the wild hair to visit me in Vermont in Winter (they are from the South) to go snowmobiling. I needed a place for them to stay near Stowe and of course thought of my friends Jane and Greg. Their historic farmhouse with a cute and private space (it's like a studio apartment) was PERFECT! But moreover, Jane and Greg were consummate hosts....providing little extras most would not even think of. From the initial booking to the day of departure, you could tell that details mattered at the Lonely Goat....and they were certainly appreciated. The hosts were welcoming and attentive but with no intrusiveness. I love the location....close to everything Waterbury and Stowe have to offer, but a quick drive to Burlington and Lake Champlain and the Capital region. Thank you so much for contributing to making my memories for my family. You guys are awesome!!!
