We tasted all of the bourbons and anything else that wasn't clear. The rye was delicious, very light and floral. 74 was complex and corn forward with a long finish. Don't forget to try the pickles and the maple syrup too. The staff was friendly and knew the product well. Definitely would recommend stopping here.

I did the teasting, wonderful, even though I don't get the overtones and undertones!
My husband wanted to visit and try some things. It's a nice tasting room near the Cabot Cheese store and the Champlain Chocolate shop. My husband did a 4 sample tasting for $5. The woman running the tasting room was very nice and pleasant to speak with and was great with our son. We ended up buying a bottle of bourbon and a gift box for his dad that had a nice leather flask and two small bottles of the bourbon.
We stopped here en route to other Vermont tourist destinations, and were pleasantly surprised! Tastings are available to check out their selection of gin, rum, vodka, and whiskey, as well as some amazing maple syrup. With bottles of their libations for sale as well as sampler packs, maple syrup, and glassware, it's a great place to pick up a gift. I'd highly recommend the maple bourbon, and I truly enjoyed their hopped gin as well.
