I would give a lower rating, but that not possible. My wife was going to Dr Whelan back in 02 & 03 when we lived in Havasu. She started giving my wife many different meds for her back pain which caused depression. Therefore she started prescribing anti depressants. All without any kind of drug interaction studies. Within a week of her last appointment & taking the meds prescribed, she passed away. During the investigation into my 29 year old wife's death, I was contacted by the Drs office, to release her medical records. Which I completely agreed to do. A week later, I requested a copy of her records in person at the Drs office. I was told that I had to wait for 3 weeks, so they could be prepared. Once I received the records, I compared them to the visitation copies that were given after every visit. They had been changed. The only thing that matched was the dates. They falsified all records for the final 2 months worth of visits. Unfortunately, the lawyer that I had hired for the impending lawsuit, was later found to be a friend of the medical practice owner, Dr Green. I never received an apology or condolences for the loss of my children's mother. I would avoid this place like your life depended on it, because it just may. Thank you Drs.

As we came up to the entrance, a robust woman with bleach blonde hair flung door open and said "we're having a meeting", "what are you here for?". My elderly patient gave her name. The woman coarsley replied with no you have no appt. Again we spelled the name and then another staff said Whelan isnt here. Your appt is at 145...then she shut door. No compassion, no water. 110 degrees out and senior in a nursing home that needs to arrange transportation.
