Friendly staff, always stocked, quick easy shopping with local product.
Wouldn’t let a 7 month pregnant women use their restroom. I like to give my business to local stores, was suggested to go up to Cumberland to use there’s, the exchange wasn’t very pleasant. Wouldn’t suggest giving your business to this convenience store.

A good place to fill up and get a snack.
The guy with long hair who works in there is one of the rudest people I’ve ever come across. He chased my 82 year old grandfather out to his car and proceeded to scold him because he put a dollar on the counter and walked out with a mid week Rutland herald.( which costs a dollar). He told him to never put money on his counter and walk out with an item. Last time I checked that’s how your suppose to pay for something. The wrong way is to NOT put money on the counter and walk out with something. He’s lived in Wallingford for over 35 years and told me he’s never felt so embarrassed/ belittled before, being targeted as a wrongdoer. He purchased the paper there weekly for almost as long as he’s lived here. I can’t speak for him, even though I assume he agrees, but I will never go to that store again.
