A very pleasant surprise.. great selection of wines, but what I was really surprised to find was the great variety of works by local Craftsman and artist. They also have a great selection of greeting cards and so much more. We'll be back.
Decent store. Good selection of wines. Toy side has plenty to offer. My only suggestion is to add apparel relating to Fairlee and Lake Morey. Ever since the General Store closed so many years ago there is no place to buy local clothes for tourists and since Chapman's has been around for so long and is right in the center of town it would be a wise addition to their offerings. There was one Lake Fairlee shirt and that was it
An excellent place to buy quality gifts.
Wonderful selection of toys, kids books, jewelry, side room loaded with items from local artisans, bee products and other health/beauty aid products. Also hand tied flies by a local enthusiast. Really one stop shopping for gift giving presents or even if you just want to treat yourself.
Quaint country store that has a little of everything, from wine and maple syrup to jewelry and locally made crafts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the kids area filled with books, toys and games. Prices are slightly on the high side which is usual for a county store, but you will still find many, many affordable items. Just a few people inside and it will be crowded.
