Excellent food m, excellent service. The place was adorable, clean, and just a delight to spend time in. They had some gluten free options, including a delicious gluten free chocolate layer cake with creamy almond butter frosting.nThe owners were so so kind.nI can’t wait to go back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Fledermaus. Originally I had booked for two, turned up with three and a baby and they accommodated us with out a problem. The food and cake was delicious and the hosts made us feel very welcome! It is also in a beautiful location, especially with the fall foliage.
I got a german iced coffee (pictured here.) the food was wonderful, but expensive. The atmosphere and the owners are lovely. While I don't recommend this for those on a budget, someone looking for a unique experience and a fun lil jaunt will love this place.
This is a very special place. It is cozy in the winter and just lovely in the warmer months. Great views and great grounds. Even though I live in Vermont - when I want to feel like I am on vacation - and I have errands in Johnson, VT - I drive down. In the Winter a lovely slice of quiche with a cup of good, dark roast coffee - all served on exquisite china - is the break I need! And in the summer they have great salads and vegie dishes from their gardens - - its just a lovely, fairytale place to take a break! And all of my friends who come up from the New York and Boston area, love it!!!
