Such a wonderful sail! Susan and Carl were great hosts - the quiche and other treats were delicious, and they were fun to chat with. They provide a great balance to the sail, whether you want to relax and enjoy, or whether you have a bit of sailing experience and want to take a stab at the tiller. The Arioso is a comfortable boat with a cute cabin. Mallets Bay is a great location, and we had perfect sailing weather - sunny and clear, cool and lots of wind! It was a blast. If you're thinking about joining the Sailing Club there, they also provide great background on that and a very convincingnpitch. I highly recommend them and will probably go again with out-of-town guests!
Spectacular sunsets on Lake Champlain on board the Arioso. Great experience on a beautiful and well maintained boat.
We had the best time on the Arioso!! It is a beautiful boat and Captain Susan (and her partner Carl) are gracious, knowledgeable, and generous hosts. It did not hurt that we had a gorgeous day for sailing.nnThe Arioso is just the right size. Not so big that it might be overwhelming for beginning sailors like myself and my husband (it felt homey and cozy), but definitely spacious enough for a small group.nnSusan is not only a skilled captain, she is also an accomplished cook. The lunch she made for us was superb.nnWe highly recommend Susan, the Arioso, and Mallets Bay for a delightful outing!
