I drove from Alburgh to Burlington to ask why I was being overcharged on deductions from SS. The clerk, who had gotten into a shouting match with previous citizen, told me he had no idea. He said it was an IRS issue and maybe it was because I sold a house last year. All of this information was incorrect. Drove back home and called appeal number, waited 45 minutes, discovered why added fee was included, told woman I wanted to appeal and she hung up on me. This is why our government needs to be brought down.

Due to an error on part of the social security employees here, I had to spend over three weeks trying to prove to them that I existed as a real person.nThat being said, they are doing the best they can with a really difficult bureaucratic system. Keep up the good work!

Not all of staff is knowledgeable about their job. On the upside, wait times are short.
