This place is very cool. The trains and history is fascinating. My son loved to climb on the train and see first hand the awesome power and engineering it took to make this country great. The trains are located across the street in a park. Great place for a picnic.

This place was absolutely amazing! It may not be huge like some other museums, but it was very obvious some extremely caring and dedicated individuals run and maintain the facility. My children, aged 10 years and 4 years, had a fun time looking at the model trains and watching real trains go by. I had fun learning about the history of railroads and looking at all of the interesting things they have in the museum. I will definitely return next time I'm here.

Great place for a quick stop and learn about the golden day of passenger railroads. The volunteers were great and the model trains were amazing.

A small museum but it had some fun displays. We visited it when the volunteers were working on the model railroads and we had a chance to visit with them. We got a lot of fun information about model railroading.

Very cute train sets available to view as they go 'round a miniature version of the town and surrounding area. Fun and fascination for all ages. I highly recommend if you have a toddler that is fascinated with train take them here! Though, please, hands off the glass... If you've got grabby toddlers there is a kids area near the library section that has wooden trains they can play with while you enjoy the museum. They also have toy trains and conductor hats for kids you can purchase. Really cool place, I thoroughly enjoyed it with my kids and will be back in the future for more fun. Friendly tip: while they do accept cards, do them a favor and bring cash. It's $2 entry per person and kids under 5 enter in for free.
