Beautiful grounds, nicely kept. Clean rooms, nicely decorated. Breakfast was well prepared and tasty.. So why only 3 stars? The reason we go to a Bed and Breakfast is for the interaction with the innkeepers. Usually they're available to suggest local things to do and places of interest. It's why you go to a B and B and not a hotel. Maybe it's due to Covid, but we never even met them. And it definitely detracted from the experience.
Very cozy, staff is extremely friendly, tremendously clean and very well organized during the Covid times. I felt completely comfortable staying here. The room was large with a cozy fireplace. In addition, this was centrally located to many of the activities we wanted to do. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did!

A true Iconic Vermont Bed and Breakfast! This historical inn will romantically sweep you off your feet as you fall in love with the darling town of Bennington, Vermont. If you think Vermont is fully of sleep quaint towns, think again, because Bennington is loaded with things to do and see! The Four Chimneys Inn is a delightful stay with spacious updated rooms and the owner, Lynn, cooks an amazing breakfast! Can't recommend this place enough!
