I’m visiting the area that this bookstore is located in and am actually considering moving around there because it’s so quaint and the people seem to be so friendly.nWell, most of the people seemed friendly until we went to this bookstore. I’m well aware that due to COVID businesses are taking extra precautions to ensure that they and their patrons stay safe and healthy. However, my best friend and I went to the bookstore today and were rudely shooed out by the woman working there. He and I were in there for about 20 minutes perusing their inventory with the intention of spending close to $100 when all of a sudden the woman comes up to him and says she going to have to ask us to leave because we’re spending too much time in there. She said that they’re trying to stay healthy.nAre you kidding me?nWe were the only two customers in the shop and we were maintaining our distance from her at all times. We were wearing masks and had sanitized our hands as well.nWe put our books down and left.nIt’s astonishing to me that someone would actually evict people willing and ready to support their business.nIf she’s the owner of the establishment she needs to change her attitude and if the woman is a sales person I hope the owner says something to her.nSo, it looks as though their massive competitor Barnes and Noble will be getting our business instead.nnThe only reason I gave this place a star is that it was the only way I could write a review. As far as I’m concerned they get a -5 stars after my experience there.

Loved this bookshop. Was planning on buying one book but walked out with three. Staff was very friendly

I've never had anything but great experiences shopping at the Bennington bookstore. Staff is very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with if you need to order book cuz they don't have it in stock they are quick to get for you
