The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is to leave room for the much larger bookstores with much larger collections, an obvious benefit to lovers of the esoteric book find. But for a small beach town, Bethany Beach Books is perfect. Its collection, while small, seamlessly reaches across its various visitors: families, beach readers looking for something mindlessly fun, and those looking for the latest in indepth and/or popular non-fiction. Even knickknacks, games and cards. Friendly staff and very friendly hours (10:30 closing in the summer). I'll never tire of visiting and supporting them.

Nice store and staff. Conveniently located right at Bethany Beach inlet. Nice staff. The selection is small but the quality of books is very good and they cover a broad range of genres.
Awful mistreatment of customers and disrespect. They will never have my business again. The selection leaves much to be desired and the layout of the store is awful. If you are in the area and are looking for a great bookstore I highly recommend Browse About books in Rehoboth, much better selection and much more welcoming owners. This place isn't worth your time and doesn't deserve your business.
Great little book store in Bethany Beach. Nice selection of books and puzzles too.
