I sure hope they are better at fire fighting as they are not good at public service when you need it. I have called department several times to find out where a fire hydrant is in distance to a particular property I am trying to write homeowner's insurance for and no one has returned my call nor as they state they do not have that information...and finally I was told to call zoning who when I spoke to them they emphatically said they do not have that information they send those inquires to the fire department. Imagine that. I have talked to may fire departments over the years and they have been receptive and willingly supplied the information. This is the 1st time I have had this happen
