Clayton Theatre

In Dagsboro, DE take a trip back in time to the mid 1900’s when you take in a movie at the Clayton Theater. Movies are a real deal at $5 a ticket. Best homemade popcorn ever!!! Theatre is updated - sound system made me feel as if I was actually at the movie location. Picture is a modern high definition one. The staff is super friendly! Love this place. My first time coming in and it just feels like I'm going to the movies, the way it used to feel back before the 21st century. This is worth driving a few extra minutes for especially because it's a small business. There's even an upstairs balcony I need to check out next time! And prices are lower than bigger chains, but I think this is a more valuable experience in general.

Historic ,non profit, small and good priced movie theatre. Snacks are much cheaper then a chain theater. It's a family favorite! They are doing a great job at social distancing and keeping every one safe.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Clayton! Wonderful staff here in an amazingly retro, beautifully kept authentic movie theatre in the art-deco style.

Went to see Frozen 2 just 2 days after it opened and was pleased to see there was only about 50 people there. Liked the option to go to the balcony. Love the feel and atmosphere of the building and the staff was sweet and attentive. My 6 year old LOVED the big old projector in the upstairs hallway and had to go see it numerous times. Will definitely be back! Nice, closer, cheaper option (only by a dollar or 2) from Movies at Midway especially if you wanna see the one movie they're showing ☺
