Long & Foster Vacation Rentals: The Plaza

Long and foster is the worst company to plan your vaca with. We stayed at the plaza in unit 0612. We had no AC for our entire stay. There were 6 adults and an 8 month old. Our room would not go below 74 degrees F. It was so uncomfortable to be in the room and especially to try to sleep.nWe called the emergency number and followed up daily with the front desk. Maintenance was to our room 4-5 times. The day we left the maintenance guy came in around 5pm, tore the ac unit apart and let us know the power switch was faulty and needed to be fixed. We left the following morning. I called long and foster to explain the issue and what was reported to me via maintenance. I was told by long and foster that there was actually NO AC issue in our room and that was that. They told us because no repairs were done during our stay that the room ac must have been functioning. Very poor customer service here.nI let them know that this was indeed not the case. They called the owners of plaza unit 0612 and upon reaching back out to me, I was told the owners did not feel as if even a partial refund was warranted.nNEVER STAY AT THESE PROPERTIES. these ppl will scam you when things are not functioning properly. The unit was nice and we would have enjoyed our stay if it was tolerable in the room. If you book here, cross your fingers that nothing goes off course bc your misery doesn’t matter to them and they keep your entire balance with no refund or apology. BEWARE

Depends on the unit you rent. Long and Foster people would do well to brush up on their people skills.

My family and I go every year and it is a wonderful wonderful place could have more entertainment though.
