Worst customer service and return system EVER. I attempted to return 1 out of 4 items purchased as gifts for me. I presented the COACH online receipt/invoice, so it would go back on my husband’s card. I had to entered the billing zip code given for the purchase. I entered our 5digit zip, but I admit there were more spaces for typing. Afterwards, I was told that I could only get store credit without the card because I entered the wrong zip, which I did not. I asked if customers were expected to enter a 9 digit zip, when that isn’t on the payment slip that she was holding. However, I said that I would look it up and enter the rest. She insisted the “system” closed out the return, BUT she could give me store credit because I did not have the card. Mind you, the return policy states you need a receipt, not the card. Anyway, she was not stern, she was rude in stating that she had no idea what I entered, but it was my doing since she didn’t touch the screen, and there is nothing to else to do. She didn’t even try to run it again. In this day of technology, what system cannot default to make a return to the original card with a receipt. I am in my mid 40s, I will never make another purchase at this store, actually I am done with coach! I will go back to the store with the card in hand and return all items since I didn’t use them... bucket, wristlet, shoes, wallet. Extremely annoyed.
