Chichester Middle School

this school has the most disrespectful staff you could imagine. when i went to this school and i was in 7th grade, i was opted out of the PSSA, i spent the day with Mrs Phillips and several other students, we were in the computer lab doing some school work online our teachers assigned us, i didn’t have any work to do on the computer so i asked Mrs phillips if i could read my book or draw, instead of giving me and alternative option she starts to yell at me and threatens to call my parents if i don’t find something to do on the computer, not to mention, mrs phillips is also a special needs teacher. Another staff member is Mrs Barone the 7th and 8th grade principal and the dean of students, she yells at students who act up and say “if you need attention that badly get it at home” chichester has students that come from low poverty, parents working hours trying to feed their family and rarely get to see their children, so these kids that act up can’t get attention from their parents at home because they’re working. the last staff member is mrs hardy, mrs hardy is openly homophobic, she wouldn’t let these two girls dance with eachother at the school dance (it wasn’t inappropriate dancing like grinding up on eachother they were slow dancing) constantly says in the hallways to kids messing around “boys don’t touch other boys” and other homophobic remarks. in an assembly of our behavior she went over words we shouldn’t use, she referred to all the words as “the f-word” except when she got down to the nword, when she actually said the nword. Also if you want your child to be in a clean environment, this isn’t the place, theres cockroaches, rats, mice, and a mold problem that they’re lying about not having, and even a few years ago there was a gas leak. to say all the problems about this school would take too long, please do not go to this school

I love this school cause my kid learns a lot

chichester middle school is the best so you should really go here for life all the teacers rock

I am a former Chichester student and my whole experience was absolutely horrid. I went there from kindergarten to 6th grade and have now transferred to a Delaware school which is a hundred times better. In my opinion you should not go to Chichester most kids think they are ghetto and from the hood, which makes them think they can pick on you and make you want to die. I have been bullied, picked on, been in fights, and even had soup poured on my head. And I'm not going to get started on the 7th grade mean girls they are all fake and plastic like. So never go to Chichester it's a horrible school I wish I never went to school there. And take it from me a now 7th grade girl using a fake account so no one can trace my name. So if you decide to send your children to Chichester middle school or high school DONT. In my opinion the elementary schools are fine but middle school and up they need to be shut down. They are not right and the way the teachers act and treat the students is simply unacceptable.

This school sucks if you want to move here dont before its too late. and they are the poorest if I could rate it 0 star then I would
