I am helping my stepdad rebuild an antique truck with a trans/engine from a different year/unknown model. NAPA employees are several times more helpful and knowledgeable than the other chains in the area. To date, they are the only ones capable of finding the right parts!

I just called this store and some woman answered the phone. I told her I needed a drive belt, she ask if I had the part number. I told her it’s a custom engine build and I didn’t have a physical belt to give her to size up or part match. She then stated I need the old belt to measure the size. I gave her the dimensions (53.7” 7rib V Belt) which is all the information she needed to see if she had that size in store. She then said again, I need the old belt. I asked to speak with another store associate she said she was the only one there. Why does she work at NAPA if she can’t look up parts properly? It not difficult take the dimensions put the phone on hold and see if that size belt is in stock. Simple
Dennis was extremely helpful! He educated me on three different topics that I asked others about that worked for the dealership(s) and never got answers that made sense of that we're logical. Dennis was very helpful on answering my questions, helping me with my spark plugs purchase and I had a very good time listening to him. Napa is very lucky to have someone like him to represent the company!
