This is a great location! My wife and I go here at least once a week. What a great combination, a grocery and an Ace hardware in one! Great service and reasonable prices too! You should check it out when you are in town!!!!
Fabulous market for a small town. We were visiting Lyman lake on a camping trip. We needed a few essentials, as we decided to extend our stay. St Johns Market did not disappoint. It shares space with an Ace Hardware and we weren't sure we would find what we needed. However, upon entering I found a full grocery store with nice large aisles and more than what I needed. I did not see liquor but there was a good beer selection. The cashier was so friendly as well. We were very happy to have found this market and look forward to returning.
It one of 2 places to get groceries in town but that doesn't mean it's the best. They have general food and quick meals.
I suppose it is better then no grocery store but take heed of the low reviews. Produce has a high sticker price but watch their scales, two jalapeños weighed in at 2 pounds, seven dollars for two jalapeños. The employees are aware of the problem but they can't really do anything about it, poor kids.. Needless to say I will go elsewhere for produce and so should you.
Never have what you want, I bought a swamp cooler pump to day, well it didn't work so I took it back, of course thy dont have the same one there so I got one of the cheap ones then what I payed for today. The old man that talks with a frog in his throat had some kind of upset with me or something. Gave me some BS that pump I got was to big for my cooler like he knows what I have and said that's probably why it burned out. He said we dont have another one no you dont well we only exchange then cooler size for cooler size. He did the exchange but didnt give me some of my money back from the pump I got earlier today saying we only exchange straight across so I told him your ripping me off. Our grocery store and Ace here in town is BS.
