Absolutely terrible Staff, I truly hope this becomes more online friendly to eliminate jobs here, Stopped in to ask a question on how something goes, and i will assume, most of the people who come here are either frustrated or have no idea what they need to do, so they come for guidance, im sure builders and agents who do this every day are far more quick to the process. Anyway on 6/21/18 I walked over to the front which was dark, the lights on the front desk were off, and the Security Gate was closed or to my thoughts looked to be. So i said hello, and someone answered and i asked if the department was open, they said yes, so i looked across the gate which is rounded, so if you stand on one end u can clearly miss the other side, so i was thought maybe its closed for renovations or something, and i seen the door in the hall way was open, so i said duh what idiot i am. I walked in the door, and asked for help, and the older woman threw a fit, and told me i need to leave right away, and i said the gates closed... she responded its not a gate, because obviously she knows the correct name, and she said i need to leave the area immediately. So first of all its a SECURITY CURTAIN or SECURITY GATE, i order them i know what they are, so i dont need you to correct me on what it is, it honestly dont matter what it is if im saying its closed, second of all, if security is so important to you and you fear for something tragic as you acted, SHUT THE DOOR!!! thats why there is a LOCK ON THE DOOR!!!, Or how about you get out of your chair and come to the front desk where i said hello.... or you know what you could print out a paper that says security gate has a 2.5 foot opening on right side, and we are open. This persons attitude was absolutely terrible, So i ignored her incompetence and clearly knew she would be no help, and or didnt want to help. So out of courteousness i asked about a process and how it works and what i need to do to make there job easier and mine easier. The entire time she made faces of disgust and wasting her time, and the very simple question of, i have receipts and theirs a title search in progress starting on Monday, will the past lien be up to date on the deed before the search starts? This question was extremely difficult for her, so i restated it in elementary terms, hence her intelligence on correcting me on the steel gate haha. And her responses was, idk. So you cant give me a time frame, or when the person will be in office that can help me, But you dont know is the best answer you have, just lie to me and say please call back on Monday!! So all in all this is a terrible place to due business, we really need a state agency to regulate the way these people treat others and more importantly business. like any other state agency it is paid for by taxes and fees to the public, so you work for the public!! so in my honest opinion, shut up, do your job, answer the stupid question or pass me off to someone that can!!! Perhaps its not her fault and mayb the supervisor of the department, anyway be warned of terrible customer service.
