They don't do their job. They don't mail you the necessary paperwork to update and after they didn't mail you the paperwork they will send you a letter saying they're closing your case because you didn't fill out the forms they didn't send in the 1st place. These people are unprofessional
All state social service offices are terrible but this one is the worst. They won't even answer the door let alone fix the constant issues they cause. Thia place is honestly a joke- they need to clean house, starting with the managers
This state office is horrible came in early 815 am no one in lobby waiting and still waiting after a hour to het a worker to do a intake interview. Must be nice to work for state and not actually ha vee to work.
I brought a friend to the Social Service Dept on Bay road. Never have I met more unprofessional people. The woman who waited on my friend was very abrupt and rude. She also violated several HIPPA laws by asking personal questions that the entire waiting room could hear. This woman needs to take some classes in how to speak to and treat customers. I wish one of her managers or someone higher up in the department would go in posing as a customer to see how truly horrid this woman treats customers. I feel very bad for the people coming in, seeking help.
This is by far the worst experience I've ever had. There customer service lacks ignorance. And the lady that helped me had a very bad attitude. When you walk into this place nothing but negativity is surrounded in this facility.
