Excellent teachers, beautiful facilities, strong sports program, new leadership is promising. Already have witnessed a positive change in the students since the new principal (Mr. Richardson) has come to Brookland. I expect great things within the next two years!
Beautifully facility with lots of potential. Leadership is extremely lacking. As a result some students are very disrespectful. Good students suffer as a result. With better leadership, BMS is destined to be wonderful.
Mr.Jenkins he always touching kids the school always firing teachers left and right this school is no goods for kids to come 2
beautiful building but thats it. the new principal has strong leadership skills but lacks the skill to listen to the kids. with him its all about what he wants, what he thinks is right. for example he expects kids to walk in line its MIDDLE SCHOOL your better of herding cats. if your a parent think about how you disipline your kid and how you yell at them. that's exactly what the principle does. i know that sound s nice and all but there's a whole grown man yelling in your child's face because he or she giggled at the class clowns joke. the dean is very touchy, not perv like but controlling. if your child doesn't want to leave the classroom (AND THIS IS EYE WITNESS) he'll try to grab them by the arm on get the out the classroom it they dodge he more then likely he'll chase the child around the class making more of a scene then there was before he came in. some of the teachers are very weak when it comes to leadership. great teachers not great captians. overall the staff should listen to the children try and understand why they act the way they act of why they dont like certain things and reason with them, the school will run much smoother instead of them thinking everthing they say and do is the best thing that can happen cause truth is more then likely thats not true.
I went to that school and it was pretty off the chain but they might have been better ever since i left
