I frequent this store and talk to the employees in Spanish. I went in to buy a bottle of wine and one of owners told me to stop speaking Spanish when interacting with her employees. When I was checking out she refused to sell me the bottle until I showed proper identification (I showed her my license).
Severely over priced and pretty rude service. If you can at all avoid this place I recommend to. That said, it’s super convenient and the selection for such a tiny store isn’t bad. If you’re headed out on a train and don’t have time its an easy place to grab some alcohol for your trip.nThat said, if you have some time, i’d recommend walking down Massachusetts ave to Schneider’s liquor rather than spending your money here.
Nice spot to do quick pick up but over price.
Very expensive... literally double the price of alcohol outside of Union Station
