Very friendly
I lived in a Shaw for a long time and this place was one of my favorites. They often have tastings on the weekends. Not necessarily the cheapest place to buy but super friendly staff and good selection overall. Check out their delivery app Liqour Express which has no fees unlike drizzly.
A decent selection of wine, and a good selection of beer and other drinks . They're fairly expensive compared to other DC liquor stores!!
I placed an order on 30-Aug-2020. My order was shipped 7-Sep-2020.nI received my order on 11-Sep-2020.nnThe item I ordered came well packaged and unbroken.nnI would recommend Modern Liquors.
Good selection, but not nearly good enough to justify the prices they are charging. Easily 30% higher for the same bottles than anywhere else in town. Hard to support a local store with such blatant price gouging.
