Bought wedding bands for myself and my fiance and we love it! The owners were so kind and helpful! They gave us a walk through of different rings and materials and explained the benefits, build, and pros/cons for each one and helped us come to a decision. Their customer service was superb and they do complimentary shine and clean if you buy from them. Made ring shopping so easy and will definitely come again!

I feel so fortunate to have found a local jeweler willing to repair some special pieces that I have and love. I brought in a variety of pieces...from favorite earrings - one of which didn't clasp anymore...to a very expensive ruby/diamond ring I purchased in Thailand that needed resetting and cleaned. I took a total of 7 pieces to Jay on Friday - March 13th and picked them up today...Monday, March 16th. The pieces were beautifully restored and Jay graciously cleaned some of my other rings...without charge while I waited. I highly recommend Jay's Jewelers @ L'Enfant Plaza - Washington DC.

My engagement ring is vintage and irregularly shaped. I first had Jay resize it for me in May 2018. He did it in 30 minutes and gave me the extra piece of gold that he had removed in case I ever needed it to be sized up again.nnThen in June 2019 I asked him to make a custom band to match the engagement ring. We talked about what I wanted- tiny diamonds to resemble the diamonds already on the engagement ring. He did an incredible job! My engagement ring is not quite symmetric and he made it to match the side he felt looked best. It fits EXACTLY with no space between the two rings. It's just what I wanted. Now of course I had to let them have my engagement ring so they could make a wax mold from it but all this was documented and I have insurance on the ring just in case. If I didn't need such an exact match that would not have been necessary.nnTo top it off, Jay and his wife couldn't be nicer people. What a pleasure to work with them.

I recently had two watches at JAY’s to be repaired and overhauled.nnAlthough they came very highly recommended.nThey exceeded my expectations.nThe work was accomplished quickly,nIn addition both watches were cleaned and polished.nTheir prices were very fair.nnThey also provided a two year warranty.nnThe owners were courteous and professional..nnI highly recommend JAY’s, for your jewelry and time piece repair needs.nHR

Jay and his wife are such sweet and attentive people! I had an engraving done here and it was perfect -- a relatively low cost, and it only took one day! They made sure it was perfect before I made my payment and took it home. Jay even went as far as to clean/shine it and wrapped it up carefully for the journey!
