McMinnville Fire Department

AT MY HOUSE , I HAD A GUEST THAT HAD A MEDICAL EMERGENCY .911 WAS CALLED AND AN AMBULANCE WAS REQUESTED . AMBULANCE SHOWED UP AT A REASONABLE TIME . 8 CREW MEMBERS CAME WITH A POLICE ESCORT . EXCESSIVE . THIS WAS NOT A CRIME SCENE . WE ARE GRATEFUL TO THE CREW AND TEAM LEADERS . WE PAY THEM ACCORDING TO THEIR SKILL LEVEL AND TRAINING . NOT ONLY MUST YOU WORK AS A TEAM BUT ALSO WORK WITH THE PUBLIC IN A SKILLFUL AND EFFECTIVE MANNER . BEING PROFESSIONALS YOU DO NOT JUST REPRESENT YOUR SELVES BUT YOUR CAREER FIELD , THE CITY YOU WORK FOR AND THE STATION HOUSE . ALL CITIZENS SHOULD BE TREATED WITH RESPECT . THIS IS WHERE YOUR EXTENSIVE TRAINING AND PROFESSIONALISM SHOULD RISE TO THE OCCASION ! ESPECIALLY , WITH VULNERABLE POPULATIONS WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY . MANY OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT , HERE !

The doors were lite when I went to get into the building. So, kudos for McMinnville Fire Department for being handicap friendly. The Lady I spoke with was very informed as to the going ons of the McMinnville Fire Department. She said there are 11 firefighters and they stay at the first station for there whole shift there are 3 shifts and they last 24 hours. So, they eat there and sleep there during their shifts.nThe fire Cheif stays there all day and is on call when ever he is not at the station .
