DC Light Dental

Not big on reviewing, but I wanted to leave one after a recent cleaning during COVID. The office has done everything to make it a safe space... including a filtration system that operates over your head as you’re getting your teeth cleaned. Beyond this though, the staff are incredible. So friendly and personably. Dr. Lee is excellent, never pushes any treatment on you, really cares about your best interest. My last cleaning was yesterday on my birthday and Dr. Lee even came in wishing me a happy bday. I feel so comfortable here, which is a lot to say for a dental office!

I have been going to this practice for several years and have spent thousands here. Dr. Lee is an excellent dentist. The front desk staff is another story. I recently called and left a voicemail stating I would be unable to make a recent appointment and was charged a $50 late/ no show fee. I understand why various policies are in place for business purposes, but it makes 0 sense to force a no-show fee on a longstanding customer, especially when they left a voicemail.

I have been coming here for years, and every visit is a pleasant one. Dr.Lee and his team are always on top of it. The front desk girls are AMAZING and ALWAYS so helpful and go above and beyond to provide excellent service no matter how many questions I may have, they explain everything so thoroughly and are so polite. Ill never understand the negative reviews (maybe they just have unrealistic expectations). Definitely the best dentist in town!!!!

My husband got his wisdom tooth out by Dr. Shin and he was suffering from pain. The doctor didn't want to prescribe any strong medication except other fancy named Tylenol. We asked the doctor about severe bone loss during the procedure but he told us he did a great job. After a month or so later, my husband was able to feel some left over tooth on his gum. We pulled it out and we found couple broken tooth. I really don't think he did a great job and we will definitely tell all of our friends not to go here because I don't want any of my friends to suffer like how my husband did. Unless anyone's looking for a doctor who doesn't explain anything, I wouldn't even see Dr. Shin.

Very friendly staff all around, from the folks at the reception desk, to my hygienist, to Dr. Lee (my dentist). The 7:00AM appointments coupled with the location make it super easy and convenient to. I usually go on my way into work. It's just a block away.
