2004 i was blessed to get into this transitional shelter! This place literally saved my life! I had a wonderful supportive family but didn't feel they should of been subjected to pulling me out of the big hole severe drug usage got me in. So I walked the pavement until something positive revealed itself. The former staff here took me in and helped me help myself! I was so used to just merely existing that I had to be taught how to LiVE life again. It was so hard but 24/7 there was a Father (church), Nuns, Counselors, Social Workers, Security & Maintenance who all were there to help me! Thank you NCFN and all the programs that were connected to them!nI am the Woman, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Mentor, Speaker, Business Owner because of people and non-profits like this! -Thank you
