First Baptist Church

What a beautiful and loving church community. They really practice what they preach and I'm so thankful for the loving support of our community as a whole. I've been to many churches, this one is absolutely my favorite!

Absolutely love this congregation and it's pastor and the message and the community work they do! They invite us to participate from Arizona via technology because they are such an inclusive group! Awesome!

I have always been moved by witnessing Baptist dedication and support of the greater community, and the FBC in McMinnville has got to be one of the most exemplary in facing contemporary fervor with divine grace.nnAlong with other churches in the area, they exemplify the Christian faith of small town America

My only experience with FBC is through assisting at the warming shelter periodically. The folks who organize and support that effort are truly following Jesus' message to care for the poor!

Went to the Christmas Eve service. What we saw and heard was very disconcerting! A woman in robes pastoring, quoting the “holy Quran”, as she called it, and reading from somebody’s book, but not one word of scripture spoken nor the name of Jesus even mentioned. The closest she came was “the Christ”, “holy One” and “gracious One”. They seemed to specifically take pains to disconnect themselves from “white” people, though claiming all inclusiveness, even though every person there was caucasian. Go figure... This is a place of great confusion and poor understanding of scripture. They want to love; I do believe that. However, I don’t see that they’re wanting to see what God describes and defines as love, or look at how He loves. Still, He knows those who are His own and will not leave them here long in this teaching!
