Can not get a return call about my first week of unemployment during the quarantine. Have called MANY times! Sent numerous emails! I have since gone back to work and sill have not been paid for the week of 3/20/20, over 6 months ago! They are probably finding a way to skim a little off the top! Its a shame this is part of our government and our tax dollars are being spent on this office!
I give it 5 stars. I felt that the staff went above and beyond what they are required to do and it made my day to have them treat me with respect! Regardless, the mistakes I had made, they were able to correct them and bring me up to date and send me on my way with the correct information and paperwork!nThanks Fayetteville DWS!
The workers I have encountered there are really pretty rude. I get that is hard to have this job especially during a pandemic, but they are not very understanding at all. They hardly listen. Both times I have gone there I have gone 2 hours before opening and still had to wait at least an hour each time to get in, not their fault, but as soon as you enter they are immediately very rude and dismissive. One woman was so mean she actually made me cry. I still feel like my unemployment situation has not been fixed at all/still confused of the next step. I get it is hard to deal with people, but a little kindness and empathy could really go a long way especially since their job is supposed to be helping people.
Tried to get a copy of my state ID so i could claim this Sunday but the system was down. Don't see how they couldn't get a copy of it for my file as thats all i needed.
The staff at the Fayetteville office were incredibly pleasant and helpful. They solved my issue quickly, and they were kind and efficient.
