He appeared to be uninterested and unconcerned. After the preliminary epilepsy testing, he never offered to schedule a video EEG or any other means of determining a diagnosis. He would schedule us to return every three months, but no medications or testing in the meantime. I had to research myself and ask him if an EEG would be the next step. His answer was yes. I then asked if we could get one scheduled. He also suggested exercise as something to try. My daughter was a healthy weight And regularly walked. Plus, I don’t see how aerobic exercise prevents seizures. In fact, they induced them, which I told him twice.

Excellent experience. He was very kind, personable, thoughtful, thorough and very compassionate. He didn’t want to do any unnecessary testing which I greatly appreciated.

Horrible experience with this doctor. Seemed to us he was unwilling to try to really help our son be become seizure free with medication. This neurologist was not interested in working diligently to eliminate or overcome my son's daily debilitating seizures, but instead perpetuated his condition. He had us convinced this was how our son would have to live his life. Years of only one check-up appointment per year, and rare dosage increases, with continued daily seizures, we finally changed Neurologists. Our son had multiple, daily, absent seizures, with occasional grandmal seizures, since he was 8. At last, my son's new Neurologist changed his medication to keppra, 500mg twice a day, VERY COMMON DOSE of this drug, as well as a commononly prescribed medication, and our son is not only seizure free, but seeking to get his driver's license, as well as his first job. He's 19. I strongly advise anyone seeing this Neurologist to find another, more competent physician.

Always kind, attentive and knowledgeable, Anytime we have had to wait more than 30 minutes Doctor apologizes profusely. We feel valued and his care has been first rate. Always! We have been with him for nearly 3 years.
