Half Moon Oral Surgery and Dental Implants, Fort Smith Clinic

The staff was great. They let me know step by step on what would take place. I was really relaxed and not nervous at all. I got my wisdom teeth taken out and they made sure to let me know before what I needed to do after the procedure and also talked to my sister and let her know step by step what needed to be done.

My mom was seen on October 6th for 4 teeth to be extracted. She has multiple health issues and is on oxygen. She had just been discharged from the hospital and had not regained her strength back. I was very concerned about her having the procedure and had many questions.nFrom the very first phone call to the last email, Erin was extremely considerate and understanding to my mother’s needs. When we arrived for her appointment, we were greeted and assisted by a wonderful young man who helped my mom into a wheelchair and took her inside. The Lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Mom’s dental assistant/nurse was perfect in every way and accommodating to my mom’s needs! I think her name was Jessica??? I even got to go back and stay with mom throughout the entire procedure! Dr.Sarna was amazing with my mom. She said she never felt any pain while he removed the teeth and he was done in less than 5 minutes!nI want to give out a HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL INVOLVED in my mom’s care! You all are wonderful and made this such a pleasant experience! Thanks again!

I definitely had an amazing experience with Half Moon. I was really nervous going in to have my wisdom tooth pulled. However, Dr. Sarna and his team made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Sarna team is very professional, friendly, respectful and caring. I definitely recommend that everyone to go to Half Moon. They are the BEST!!!

I've decided to share this review now having experienced very different treatment by front staff at both the Fayetteville and Fort Smith clinics.nnI took my daughter to the Fayetteville location to have her 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Sarna. There I found the staff to be personable, caring, thorough and compassionate. Dr. Sarna is the best! Very personable, compassionate, with a winning personality that was quick to put both my daughter and I at ease. The procedure was flawless and her recovery was quick and relatively painless!nnNow onto my recent experience with the Fort Smith clinic, where 6 days ago, I had to have all of my bottom teeth removed, under local anesthesia. There was a lot of back and forth with this location, as I'd had to reschedule multiple times (life happens, unfortunately not like we plan). I found the staff here to be rude, at times dishonest, and overall difficult to work with. To be perfectly honest, were there other choices in this immediate area, I'd have probably moved on and had the work done elsewhere.nnWhen I got to the clinic one thing I noticed upon arrival is their avoidance to turn your direction or look you in the eyes. They weren't overly rude in person, but they didn't go out of their way to be kind either.nnOnce I got to the back, the young lady (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) who was assisting Dr. Sarna, was kind and considerate. When I started to cough, she immediately got me a bottle of water, came in and checked on me several times as we waited for the good doctor (he was busy with other procedures as he simultaneously prepared me for mine), asked me appropriate questions, and let me know she was there if I needed anything.nnUpfront I should say that in the past, I have had very bad experiences with dentists and I have a fear of them, as well as having anything done in my mouth. Having all of my teeth removed was scary and I was a nervous wreck! But Dr. Sarna was very kind, talked to me throughout the procedure, made sure I was completely numb before he started, and was extremely quick in getting all fractured teeth removed (he timed it at 5 minutes total). If I was basing my review and it's stars on his treatment alone, I would give 5 stars easily. He is an asset to his profession and I would recommend him to anyone. Unfortunately, I had to deal with some nonsense with some of his staff and that taints my overall experience.nnSomeone from the clinic called me 2 days after the procedure to check on me, which I appreciated.

I had to track down my referral after having it sent to HalfMoon two times. When my referral was located the staff was extremely rude and unsympathetic towards to me. I felt extremely judged by the fact that I didn’t have dental insurance, which, I would like to just note is really closed minded and silly.nn—- Note to staff:: Just because someone doesn’t have dental insurance doesn’t mean they do not have money. ud83cudf08ud83dudc96
