Moved to Van Buren, AR.... not at Littlefield Truck Stop anymore

Clean, fresh bus. The driver and his trainer were really nice

I was stuck in Fort Smith, AR at 3am ... 3.5 hours from my destination when the driver had to stop to rest for 8 hours because he was at his driving limit!!! Do you think Jefferson Lines or GreyHound prepared for this? No! They absolutely did not! I booked a trip at a time and day for a reason. I missed my FIRST DAY of work in the town I was moving to, thus not being able to move in to my apartment for lack of income. I was told I would be there, at the gas station, until 9am at the earliest and then going all the way out of the way an additional 8 hours...making my arrival time 10pm !!!!!! When it was supposed to be 7am! Not to mention the hassle of dealing with their poor, very poor, customer service reps while trying to reschedule my trip before I even boarded! My boyfriend was at work and could not leave. But he was finally able to come pick me up later that evening (remember, I have been at this gas station in the middle of nowhere since 3am) . We didn't book a $200 bus trip just to get stranded and have to spend another $100 in gas!!! I feel something should be done about this, if anybody cares! Completely, unprofessional and unacceptable!
