Metropolitan Pediatrics: Bridgeport

Our child has long been a patient of Metropolitan Pediatrics at the Northwest location. Due to our relocation we decided to switch to Bridgeport and to a doctor more regularly present at Bridgeport. Our visits have only been during the COVID-19 era and it seems that the office handles precautions and patient experience quite well. We have been impressed at how quickly we have been seen and how little we have had to wait during the appointment to see the doctor. We have found Doctor Malcom to be genuinely interested in our child's well-being. She was quick to discern the need to switch from a video visit to a same-day in-person visit. We appreciate that she has taken our child's illness seriously and tried her best to diagnose it.nnThe only negative I could mention regarding the office has been we dropping off a lab sample. I have done so twice. The first time I had to wait an extraordinary amount of time just to hand it off to a nurse (front desk wouldn't accept it). The second time, the wait was not so bad at all. It seems that this office's nursing and front desk staff can be stretched a bit thin at times. This may be a result of the unusually high volume of overly concerned parents calling in, which is likely normal for all pediatric medical offices during these times.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Very COVID-19 safe environment, especially for a new momma. We are thrilled to have chosen them for our sons care team.

Metro pediatrics has been nothing but an amazing place for my daughter to get care at. Dr.Moore, Princess, and the whole staff are incredibly kind and caring. We had a recent appointment where we had to go in person and they have very safe protocols in place! I’m so glad I found this doctors office...best one I’ve ever brought my daughter to!

I’m totally impressed by their Covid testing. We called late in the afternoon, had a virtual call with a doctor 2 hours later and had a test and results later that evening. Everyone was very friendly and competent. Thank you Metropolitan Pefiatrics!

This is a great medical office with flexible hours. They make everything very easy.
