We stop here every time we make a trip to Benton or Little Rock. It's the owners who make this quirky little family business intriguing and inviting... not to mention the wonderful little surprises, like miniature Tootsie Pops at the counter, that we find irresistible. In need of gas, or not, we stop and say 'hi.' Two days ago we noticed that they've improved their lighting and it's great. I'm guessing that the new national chain store/station is a motivator, but there are those of us who aren't seduced by shiny and new, we appreciate the original and historical loyally.
It is not open any more, hope another gas station rents it.
fast pleasant experience
Do not stop here! The cashier tried to steal my money. You have to prepay before filling up. I asked beforehand if I will get back the money I don't use. She said yes. I did not use all I paid for, went back in, and she said that there aren't any refunds. I told her I had asked ahead of time and she said she hadn't understood. Told me to take the equal amount of merchandise instead and tried to show how gracious she was in not charging the 58¢ in tax. Bathroom does not have soap or paper towels.
It's easily accessible from the interstate when going east. Much more intuitive than the better known stations.nDownside, must pay inside,
