Kroger Pharmacy

I have used this pharmacy for years and they have been great to me and my family.

I love this pharmacy and pharmacist however the always only have one cashier and drive thru open during peak hours. 6-7 people working, I don't understand.

Really slow and some kind of issue every time I go here...

OMG. Talk about incompetence. I have given this guys multiple chances and they have failed every time. First they tell my my insurance doesn’t match my name that they have on file; I have been trying to change my maiden name to my married name with them more than twice and they continue to have me under my maiden name. They always take forever to fill your prescription, I’m talking hours, my Doctor calls them in and I give about 1-1 1/2 hours before I pick up and when I get there they tell me they are working on it that it’ll be 15-20 minutes. This last time, and the reason why I am switching pharmacies, was the last straw; I have strep throat, I had gone there this morning after my Doctors appt and told them I had some antibiotics called in and as always they tell me that it’ll be 15-20 minutes, i come back after the time, I pay for it, get home and it’s the wrong prescription! I call back and ask if they have my antibiotics and they say the Dr. didn’t call them in, I call my Dr. and the RN tells me she called then and that they do have the prescription that they must’ve filed it under my married name (even though that shouldn’t have been an issue if they had changed my name to begin with or if they had looked under both names as I request every time since I know they never changed my name). I called Kroger and they told me they did have it this time that it should be ready in 1 hour! I told them I was going home, I didn’t feel well, and I would come back later. My sister had to go pick it up and lo and behold! They didn’t have it!...correction, they didn’t FIND IT! After 30-40 minutes of my sister telling them to look under both my names etc, they finally found it and told her “it was cancelled” that’s why they couldn’t find it! Then they had to prepare it, making her wait another 15-20 minutes for it! So here it is Kroger at McCain & North Hills Blvd. your staff either really sucks at their jobs or they try really hard to make me never want to come back to your store. Either way I’m switching pharmacies.

Slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. Sat in the drive thru for 10min before anyone came to the window. They told me it would be a 20min wait on my prescriptions. I came back an hour later and sat in the drive thru for 30min before I even got to the window, then another 15min for them to find the prescription. Seems to me they need to find quicker strategies or hire more techs.
