I'd give zero if I could. Told us that they got everything out of our cat but he had low numbers with his kidneys and liver. Come to find out they didn't check for stuck string like they said they were going to, and now we have to put our baby down because he won't survive removing the damaged intestine. I don't like being lied to especially about my pets and they lied to us on the phone and told me and my husband very different things each time.

We took our 13 year old Yorkie here on Labor Day. She had an unwitnessed puncture injury resulting visibly in air filling her chest. Upon being checked out her condition was worse than we thought. She was placed on oxygen and required them to do a chest tap to remove the air. She ended up spending the night in their ICU and discharged to report to her regular vet the next morning. Our regular Vet was pleased with the treatment prescribed by the After Hour Vet on duty. The staff here at the After Hour Animal Hospital were very friendly and informative. We probably had 5 or 6 phone conversations in the 20 hours she was in their care and they kept us very informed. They also bragged on our sweet little girl being a good patient. We truly believe our Zoey would not be here today if not for the care she received here. They sent us all the records from her stay including digital access to the xrays. The only reason I'm leaving 4 star instead of 5 is because I think some things were overpriced (bandaging and meds) but we were willing to pay to save our girl!

During most difficult times with our loved pet family members, they talked over phone and very informational and supportive. Once we got there, (during covid pandemic) they came to get our loved one Lou from truck and let husband and myself be there during her last few minutes of life here. And gave us as long as we would wanted to stay. Great place, great people and couldn’t have picked a better place for such a bad situation. Thanks again.

I had to take my best friend of 16 years[19yo jack Russell rat terrier] in to have him put to sleep today and the staff was amazing they were kind and helpful they let me hold him and love on him as long as I wanted. They really were very kind and caring. It made a world of a difference
