Akels Carpet One Floor & Home

We went in to the store today. We need to refloor our entire home. Over 2100 square feet. We are updating to be able to sell. So, if we had a good experience we would have made this our go to destination for the next home as well.nnOf course with that kind of square footage, we are looking for deals. We did our homework online, requested a call to discuss it, and planned on getting it taken care of this weekend. We received a call today where I discussed our needs and I was told to come into the store to pick out a few samples and schedule an appointment with a consultant to come to our home and take measurements.nnWhen we walked into the store we were haphazardly greeted from a young woman who asked if we knew what we were looking for. We began to tell her the ideas we had come across on the website. This lady simply said that it wasn’t available. Well, what do you mean it isn’t available? What isn’t available? Is it out of stock, you need to order it, or discontinued? Who knows? All we could get out of her was that it was not available. She might as well have said to us “we don’t serve your kind around here, there is the door. “ I have never felt more judged and unwanted in a store than In this place. She didn’t even offer another option or try to help us find anything. She looked completely disgusted to deal with us and had no desire what so ever to make a huge sale. She offered no insight, advise, guidance, or salesmanship whatsoever. We certainly will never go here again.

Not the best in customer service once the sale is made. Bought two rooms of carpet from them in late June. Employee who did estimate on job told us there would be quite a bit left over that we could use for runners etc. After installation the installer took all the left over pieces. The company then claimed there were only small scraps left but they would get us a piece for a runner at no charge. Over a month later--no piece and no plan to get us one. We were going to use them for floor coverings in some other rooms of our house but will not be using them after this. Carpet installation was fine but you can't believe what they tell you. I hate to think of what would have happened if there had been a problem with the installation.

Akels carpet one is awesome!! They have done work at my office and now my house. The installer s were fabulous and quick and Paul Rhodes the salesman was so helpful. A very professional group all the way from sales to installation!!!

Wonderful experience buying flooring from Akel's Carpet One in Sherwood, AR. Michelle was so helpful in helping us select flooring for our stairs. We also called her several times after we received the flooring, and she gladly answered all of our questions.

Sales person was not interested in trying to sell/show us any samples. Most sales people know when they have a sale. This lady showed us one sample and that's it! She may have lacked experience? Either way I won't go back b/c it took more effort for me to go to the Akels Carpet than the sales lady gave us!
