Lots of space and clearly marked lines inside. Plenty of hand sanitizer around. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Lovely. Quiet. The air was crisp. Cool in the shade. I found these 2 blue spruce pine trees, only ones I found in the park, at the park entrance, facing tv hwy. I never knew they were here. I wonder why they're the only two....

Nice clean library. We’ve only really gone for the kids. They have a great kids section. Play kitchen, puzzles, coloring station and more. A great indoor place when the weather isn’t the best.

Pretty surroundings, lots of computers to use. Not a huge book selection, but plenty of DVDs and BluRays to borrow.

We live near by and in the summer, we used to enjoy biking riding here to picnic and let kids play at the park right next door. In the colder weather days, the park used to be a beautiful spot to walk around and enjoy the library with your kids after.nUnfortunately, that has changed a lot. I no longer feel safe taking my kids to that park, or library. They allow homeless people to sleep outside the doors, or nearby in the park set up with various carts. One day someone was sleeping under the book return when me and my 4 year old went to return books. I went in a few days later with my daughter, to find many of the seats inside taken up by homeless people sleeping, duffle bags sitting at their feet and such. Not to mention the ones who sit at the computers, that they have right next to the kids area. The smell can be overwhelming which I fear is unsanitary when my kids ask to go to the computers, and I shouldn't have to worry about my children's saftey . We have a real homelessness problem in Hillsboro right now and it's heartbreaking. So we no longer patron this library, and stick to the Brookwood library. It's unfortunate since I grew up going to this library, and loved the walkability to it. I hope they do something soon.
