Called and asked him much 2 dozen cup cakes would cost. Instead of telling me they asked me when I needed them. I said either today (Friday) or Monday. They told me they couldn't make any cupcakes till Wednesday? Not sure the reasoning behind this, don't know how much it would have costed. I figured 50$ or so. Idk strange I have to wait almost a week for cupcakes. I would understand an intricate wedding cake or something, but cupcakes?
I live out of state and ordered a cake for a friends surprise party. I the cake didn’t look anything like the photo, and the owner didn’t even have the courtesy to call and ask me about the decor or even buy the sprinkles I wanted for the cake even after paying $50+ for the thing. I also know that the owner literally uses cake mix from Walmart (why would I pay for something I can make myself?) and has VERY unsanitary practices.
UpdatednAfter my initial review, the owner contacted me and apologized saying that her normal person was unavailable to decorate my cake and that’s why it was below their normal quality. She did offer a refund and a discount on my next purchase. Thank you for making it right.nnThe first picture is the cake I received today for my nephews 1st birthday. The second picture was the image that the lady pulled up and showed me herself and told me they could do. I am very disappointed. The blue and green colors are the only thing right about this cake. It looks nothing like a monkey and more like a bear and had the ears been moved to the side of the head like they should of been there would of been room for the name without crowding. It really seems like they rushed through it even though I ordered 2 weeks in advance and to top it all off the cake was very dry and left me wishing I would of just went to Walmart. Not worth the almost $43 I spent on this cake! Very disappointed.
