Washington County Circuit Court

I just talked to a lady finding out why I owe money from 20 years ago. The lady I spoke with was rude & disrespectful. Your a public servant are taxes pay your salary. This treatment is uncalled for on all levels. If you don't have to go through Washington County circuit court don't. EDIT: YOU CAN'T PAY BY PHONE. YOU HAVE TO GO THE THROUGH THE PEOPLE WHO SENT YOU THE PAPER IN THE MAIL.

They say they have an online jury response form, but it doesn't actually work. The link on their website is broken. Incompetent.

Nowhere on the website does it state that the offices are CLOSED from 12-1 when most people have a lunch break to go do business at the courthouse records department- NOWHERE! You’d think WaCo would want to be working for the public- NOT! Even the DMV is open 12-1 - geez bad bad community service

Absolutely horrible!!! The DA's office representing the state of Oregon completely takes over the case does not listen to or respect anything the victim has to say and slaps no contact orders without victims permission. Completely violates a persons rights as a US citizen. Discriminates against women. Does not listen to the victim, respond to or show respect. Appears to only use victims as pawns to unleash draconian and punitive punishments on the citizens of this county. As a victim one is punished and hurt so much worse at the hands of this system than the accused abuser could ever hope to. Word of advice, don't ever get the law involved in your personal business. Not in Washington county that is!

Tried doing a name change online with the efile method they offer. Everything looked good. Next day rejected due to the court does not allow efile for name changes. Called up there to ask why offer this and the clerk said that's not her problem it's local law. Very rude when trying to explain how only having 30minutes a day to file one form is highly inconvenient. She didn't seem to care.
