Safe place to take a nature walk. Neat history on what used to be there. Trails marked good. Great place to get out and walk.

I dont know about the forestry department part but, we call it the visitor center for obvious reasons. Paved trail ud83dudc4dnBe careful on the other trails though, we rode down earthquake ridge and hit a total of 50 spider webs.

Great hiking trails. The restrooms are air conditioned and clean particularly welcome when coming off the trail
