My husband and I made a weekend getaway to try our luck finding gems at Crater of Diamonds State Park. We didn't find any gems but we did luck out by being able to stay in this beautiful home that is Diamond Oaks Inn. The bed was super comfy and the hospitality shown to us by Buddy and Karen was just like staying with family. We slept in a spacious room which also had a large en-suite bathroom. We enjoyed the quiet mornings by sitting in the sunroom while sipping a cup of coffee. Karen made delicious homemade cookies for an afternoon snack. The pool was clean and nice. We will stay there again soon!

Great little find. This town is a very old town so of course the houses are older. Bathrooms are a little dated but that wasn't a big deal for us. This is a bed and breakfast so remember you are sharing a house with others and the owners. They give you breakfast card to eat right down the road. They make coffee for you in the morning at the house. Beatiful outdoor property with huge pool. Lovely owners, very pleasant:)
