The city of Glenwood has turned what used to be a dead end, rutted pig trail used by teenagers as a make out spot into a lovely city park with public access to the Caddo river.nThe road is paved and in good condition, there are picnic benches in the shade, and plentiful parking.nThis little park is a wonderful addition to this charming town.

This is a great place to get wet! I always park here when I’m paddling the Caddo. I’ve never had any problems with leaving my vehicle or even when I’m just hanging out looking at the river. Always a great getaway right in the middle of Glenwood.
