Rodeway Inn

When I started nodding off on a long drive, I pulled over at the first place I came to. My expectations were low, but they were vastly exceeded. The service was fast (albeit, it was two in the morning and no one was in line). I got the last room they had, and it was smoking. I was worried it would stink, but it didn't. The mini fridge was actually a mini fridge, so I was able to refrigerate all of the food that I had with me, which was nice. I was moving from living in a city to living in another city, so I was not expecting a room this spacious, particularly for the price. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-ventilated.nnThe stairwell coming into and out of the building was super sketch, but other than that, I was pleasantly surprised by just about everything. I was on a pretty tight schedule (needing to hit the road early the next day), and very tired. I may have lost about five minutes of sleep to the fact that the door handle had to be opened upwards by trying to open it pushing down a few times. I don't know if that was a defect with my room or how all the rooms are, but I think a few groggy travelers would appreciate being able to stumble into the room the normal way. So that was my one complaint.nnFor a daily rate at motel that is less substantially less than what I was used to paying per day in rent, I expected much worse, and was very pleasantly surprised.

Am i supposed to use the bar of soap after I touch the shampoo bottle? ud83dude05 staff was nice but.. they could definitely use some steam cleaners and a little TLC.

Great place they were very polite and do a good job on keeping the rooms clean!

Friendly hostess free breakfast from 05:30-09:00. They do not have washer and dryer but they do have a laundry service. They have an outdoor pool but it is currently not open. Free Wi-Fi. Clean rooms good water pressure. There is a Mexican restaurant and a bar and grill right next to the hotel. I didn't eat there so I don't know how good it is.
