This is a really nice place to stop. It’s a really old gas station that belonged to the Rose family many years ago and got bought by the Whitehead family who had owned it ever since. Walking in just takes you back with the deer heads hanging on the walls and old pics and memorabilia. When I was in high school taking drivers ed we would fight to ride with the person driving that day because that meant we got to get a biscuit at this gas station. Later I joined the Navy and almost every time I came home to visit I’d go there to get a hamburger and spicy fries. I also like how the diesel pumps are away from the gas pumps so diesel trucks and those needing fuel for equipment don’t block all of the pumps.

This is my absolute favorite place to get breakfast or a hamburger for lunch. I love home cooking and sometimes I am too busy to do it myself. They never disappoint. Love it!!!

Hamburgers are freshly cooked and to order, so getting the hamburgers is not quick. Lots of food for not much money. Friendly people who are quick to help. Little place and quiet. Seating is at picnic tables with a country feel. This is actually a small convenience store with gas and a small grocery but they also serve pizza and hamburgers. Nice stop if in the area.
